NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio—The Mount Union men's tennis team suffered a 9-0 loss to open Ohio Athletic Conference play against Baldwin Wallace.

The Purple Raiders, now 8-4 on the season,  had several close matches in the loss with Rob DeMarco (North Canton/Hoover) and Jeff Williams (Cleveland Heights/Lakewood St. Edward) leading 5-2 at No. 1 doubles before falling 8-6.

In singles play, DeMarco battled in both sets but fell to Peter Harris at the No.1 singles position.

Baldwin Wallace improves to 16-1 on the season.

Mount Union is back in OAC action next Saturday, April 2^nd, when they travel to Heidelberg. The match is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
