COLUMBUS, Ohio—Mount Union men's tennis team fell 5-4 to Capital in an Ohio Athletic Conference match on Saturday in Columbus.
The Purple Raiders, now 11-6 and 3-3 in the OAC, came out of doubles down 2-1. Rob DeMarco (North Canton/Hoover) and Jeff Williams (Cleveland Heights/Lakewood St. Edward) won at the No.1 doubles position. Mount Union won three of the six singles positions. DeMarco and Williams both won in three sets at No.1 and No.2 singles. The Raiders are now fifth in the OAC behind Baldwin Wallace, John Carroll, Otterbein, and Capital.
The Raiders are back in action on Monday, April 18th, as they host Muskingum for an OAC match. The match is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m.
