Box Score MEADVILLE, Pa.— Mount Union's men's soccer team ended up with a 1-1 tie in a non-conference game Sunday at Allegheny.
It was the third time in the last four games that the Purple Raiders ended a game in a tie and leaves their record at 1-3-3 on the season.
Mount Union got on the board early as freshman Ben Hobrath (Brunswick/CVCA) found the back of net in third minute and it stayed 1-0 at halftime.
Allegheny (2-5-2) tied the game on a Zach Stryker goal in the 53rd minute.
Allegheny out-shot Mount Union 4-1 over the rest of regulation and both overtime periods before the game ended in a tie.
Dylan Lias (Cuyahoga Falls/Cuyahoga Falls) had seven saves for the game for the Raiders.
The Raiders next play Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 6 p.m. against Waynesburg (Pa.) at Mount Union Stadium.
