TIFFIN, Ohio -- Mount Union's men's soccer team gave nationally ranked No. 20 Heidelberg all it could handle in an Ohio Athletic Conference 0-0 tie Saturday in Tiffin.

With the tie, Mount Union's record goes to 5-5-1 overall and 1-1-1 in conference play while Heidelberg, ranked in the d3soccer.com top 25, gets its first blemish on their perfect record as they go to 9-0-1 and 2-0-1 in the OAC.

The Purple Raiders were outshot on goal 12-5 in the matchup but sophomore goalkeeper Zach Hlas (Medina/Medina), who played all 110 minutes did not allow anything past him.

Mount Union's defense stood tall throughout the game as they faced 11 corner kicks with nothing going for the Student Princes.

The Raiders will be on the road this Wednesday, October 11 at 4 p.m. at Marietta.
