DELAWARE, Ohio -- The Mount Union men's tennis team's three-match unbeaten streak was snapped by Ohio Wesleyan University after the Purple Raiders faced an 8-1 loss on the road Tuesday afternoon.
Mount Union (3-1) senior Rob DeMarco (North Canton/Hoover) defeated Ohio Wesleyan's (6-2) Diego Venegas 7-6 and 7-5 in position one, notching the Purple Raiders' only match point against the Battling Bishops.
The Raiders will next face Nebraska Wesleyan University at 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 5 in Hilton Head, S.C. The team will play five matches over the course of a week while on its spring break trip.
