Men's Soccer: Mount Union Tourney Run Ends in OT in Semifinals

WESTERVILLE, Ohio -- No. 5 seed Mount Union lost 1-0 in overtime at No. 2 seed Otterbein Thursday in the semifinals of the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Tournament.

Kennedy Mensah headed in a cross with just 28 seconds left in overtime to send Otterbein (13-6) to Saturday's championship game at No. 1 seed John Carroll.

Senior goalkeeper Zach Hlas (Medina) made six saves while he and the "Purple Wall" defense kept the Purple Raiders as Otterbein had a 20-7 shot advantage.

Mount Union (10-4-5) will see if they can get one of 21 national at-large bids to the NCAA Division III Tournament when the selections are announced Monday, November 11 at 1:30 p.m. at ncaa.com.
