Zanny Sauter (Avon) scored five points in the quarter, aiding in a comeback for the Raiders as they would get back within 10 points at 47-37 with 20 seconds on the clock. Taphorn's trip to line with 17 seconds remaining concluded the third quarter as Capital would hold on to lead 49-37.

A three by Elena Rauhe (Seven Hills/Padua Franciscan) looked to kick start the Mount Union offense in the fourth quarter, trailing 51-40 after a minute and a half of play. Tori Rappach (Warren/Howland) followed up with a three of her own, but Capital soon sparked a 13-4 run to win the game 69-47.
