ALLIANCE, Ohio-- Mount Union's men soccer team, ranked No. 18 in the nation, defeated Denison 1-0 Saturday night at Mount Union Stadium.

Mount Union remains unbeaten on the season at 6-0-1 overall while Denison falls to 3-3-1 overall.

After a scoreless first half, the game's lone goal from sophomore Rylan Wikle (Olmsted Falls) off an assist from sophomore Adam Passino (Maumee / Anthony Wayne) in the 59th minute.

Senior goalkeeper Zach Hlas (Medina) completed his fourth shutout of the season and 14th of his career with three saves on the night.

Mount Union closes out its non-conference schedule Wednesday, September 25 at 7 p.m. against Penn-St. Berhend at Mount Union Stadium.
