Raiders Drop OAC Matchup on the Road

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Mount Union's women's soccer team dropped an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup against Capital 2-0 on Saturday night.

The Comets (6-6-1, 5-0-0 OAC) quickly struck first scoring in the 4th minute off a goal by Avery Hart with Cassidy Ryan picking up the assist on the goal.

The Comets lead remained at one goal until the 76th minute when Aaliyah Brletic found the back of the net off an assist from Kailey Stanisovska.

Freshman goalkeeper Rylee Oldfield (Liberty Twp. / Lakota East) recorded a new career high for saves, recording eleven saves in the game.

The loss drops the Raiders to 7-5-1 overall and 3-2-0 in OAC play.

The Raiders return to action Wednesday, October 20 at 7 p.m. against Marietta at Mount Union Stadium.
