TIFFIN, Ohio – The Mount Union men's soccer team won an Ohio Athletic Conference matchup against Heidelberg, 3-1 on Saturday afternoon.
The Purple Raiders (9-4-2, 2-4-1 OAC) scored three goals in just 6:28 of game time to take a 3-0 lead into the half. The first goal came in the 39

Nick Demonte (Brunswick) picking up the assist. Then, in the 41

Ryan Sarkisian scored off a penalty kick. With senior
Christian Egan (Monongahela, Pa. / Ringgold) scoring his first career goal in the 45
th minute.
The "Purple Wall" defense held the Student Princes (5-9-2, 1-4-2 OAC) to just six shots.
