ADA, Ohio -- No. 5 seed Mount Union lost 1-0 in overtime at No. 4 seed Ohio Northern Tuesday in the quarterfinals of the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Tournament.

Bryan Kern connected with the ball to score with five minutes left in overtime to send Ohio Northern (6-3-1) to Thursday's Semifinal game at No. 1 seed John Carroll.

Junior goalkeeper Mikey Contreras (Fremont / Fremont Ross) made two saves while he and the "Purple Wall" defense kept the Purple Raiders in the game as Mount Union held had a 16-10 shot advantage.

Mount Union will finish its season 4-4 in the OAC and 4-5 overall.
