ALLIANCE, Oh. – Mount Union's women's soccer team dropped their first home game of the season 2-1 against Penn State- Behrend, Wednesday evening.
The Raiders (3-2) got on the board first after senior
Mary Double (Salem) scored her second goal of the season off an assist from senior
Sara Thomas (Barberton) in the 17
th minute.
The Lions (5-1) answered in the 39
th minute when Karla Ochoa found the back of the net to tie the game 1-1. The Lions then took the lead in the 78
th minute when Brenna MaGuire scored.
Freshman goalkeeper
Rylee Oldfield (Liberty Twp. / Lakota East) picked up four saves for the Raiders.
The Raiders are back in action Saturday, Sept. 18 at 7 p.m. against Chatham (Pa.) at Mount Union Stadium.
