BEREA, Ohio – The University of Mount Union women's soccer team shut out Baldwin Wallace, 6-0, on the road in an Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) matchup Wednesday night.
The win was the program's largest since 2018 when Mount shut out Heidelberg, 6-0.

Olivia McLean (Beloit / West Branch) scored the first two goals of the game, including the first less than five minutes in. McLean's netted her career-high second goal of the game 17 minutes later with a 25-yard shot. The Purple Raiders took a 3-0 lead after first-year

th minute. Mount led 3-0 at halftime.

Kaela Turle (Twinsburg / Twinsburg), senior
Andrea Decker (Hillard / Hillard Bradley), and junior
Emily Beach (Gahanna / Gahanna Lincoln) all scored in the second half. Decker now leads the team with nine goals on the season.
Raider sophomore goalkeeper
Rylee Oldfield (Liberty Twp. / Lakota East) earned the shutout win, her first of the season, while collecting four saves.
Mount Union (4-2-3, 1-1 OAC) is back in action Saturday, Oct. 8 at home against Heidelberg under the lights of Kehres Stadium at 7 p.m.
