Women's Soccer: Raiders Fall To John Carroll in OAC Quarterfinal

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio – Mount Union's women's soccer team lost an Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament matchup 3-1 to John Carroll on Tuesday night.

The Blue Streaks (10-8-2, 5-4-0 OAC) struck first when Madyson Rosado found the back of the net in the 10th minute to take a 1-0 lead. John Carroll would add to their lead in the 38th minute this time off the foot of Emily Patryzk.

The Blue Streaks would add a third goal in the 51st minute when Grace Monnin found the back of the net to extend the lead to 3-0.

The Purple Raiders would cut into the lead in the 78th minute when senior Andrea Decker (Hilliard / Hilliard Bradley) found the back of the net to cut the lead to 3-1.

The Raiders season comes to an end after the loss, they finished the season 7-6-4 overall and 4-4-1 in OAC play.
