Box Score DELAWARE, Ohio – The Mount Union women's basketball team fell on the road 74-47 to Ohio Wesleyan Tuesday afternoon at Branch Rickey Arena.
 
The Purple Raiders (4-6, 1-2 OAC) was led by senior Emma Cannon (Dalton) scoring 12 points with six rebounds.
 
Leading Ohio Wesleyan (5-4, 0-0 NCAC) was Alyssa Griner with 16 points and nine rebounds and Lauren Denison with 16 points.
 
Mount Union converted just three of its first 17 shots in the first quarter as Ohio Wesleyan led 17-8 after the first 10 minutes. Ohio Wesleyan outscored the Raiders 22-9 in the second quarter to take a 39-17 halftime lead.
 
The Bishops extended their lead to 52-30 after three quarters on their way to the 27 point victory.
 
Mount Union plays Wilmington on Saturday, December 31 at 3 p.m. in Alliance at the McPherson Academic and Athletic Complex.
