ADA, Ohio -- Mount Union's women's tennis team suffered an 8-1 loss to Ohio Northern in an Ohio Athletic Conference Saturday in Ada.

The Purple Raiders (2-7, 1-5 OAC) got their lone point at No. 1 doubles as the duo of freshman Abby Franks (Canton / Canton South) and sophomore Emma Thornton (Canfield / Youngstown Ursuline) got an 8-7 victory.

Mount Union closes out the season with an OAC match against Otterbein next Saturday at 1 p.m. at Whitehill Courts in Alliance.
