Springfield, Ohio – Mount Union's women's soccer team tied Wittenberg 1-1 in a non-conference matchup on Saturday afternoon.
The Purple Raiders (3-1-3) struck first when senior
Andrea Decker (Hilliard / Hilliard Bradley) found the back of the net in the 28
th minute to take a 1-0 lead.
The Tigers (1-5-2) would tie the game in the 76
th when Brooke Mullis scored off a free kick. Neither team would be able to find the back of the net over the final 14 minutes ending the game in a 1-1 draw.
The Raiders open up Ohio Athletic Conference play next when they travel to Ada, Ohio to take on Ohio Northern on Saturday, October 1 at 1 p.m.
