Men's Track and Field: Raiders 4x400-Meter Relay Drops No.2 Division III Time

BEREA, Ohio / UNIVERISTY PARK, Pennsylvania—The quartet of Tyler Gill (Greenville, PA. / Reynolds), Matt McBride (Conneaut), Justin Knoch (Canton / GlenOak) and Brady Burrey (Bellfontaine) ran at Penn State running a 3:15.52 good for second in Division III Saturday afternoon.
 
Drake Willenborg (South Lyon, Mich. / South Lyon East) won the weight throw with a toss of 57-feet 11.25-inches which is currently 16th in the nation.
 
In the pole vault Mount Union took the top two spots with the same height of 15-feet .25-inches as Kyel Wolff (Cleveland / Cuyahoga Heights) won and Colton Hanlon (Uniontown / Lake) took second.
 
Haden Gibson (Brookfield) and Tylir Shannon (Transfer, Pa. / Reynolds) took the top two spots in the 400-meters with 50.75 and 51.47. Shannon came back to win the 200-meters with a 22.64.
 
Josh Fouche (Cuyahoga Falls / Walsh Jesuit), Nick Turner (Strongsville), Aiden Malloy (League City, Tx. / Clear Springs) and Josh Momeyer (Livonia, Mi. / Churchill) won the 4x200-meter relay in a time of 1:30.94.
 
Andrew McVicker (Dover) and Brandon Paige took home first and second in the 55-meters with time of 6.51 and 6.58.
 
Dominic Deshuk (Amherst / Steele) took home second in the 55-meter hurdles with a 7.79.
 
Chris Tooms (New Concord / John Glenn) finished second in the mile with a 4:25.58.
 
Alex Reese (Geneva) ran a 1:56.88 to take second in the 800-meters.
 
Jonah Bacho (Boardman) finished second in the shot put with a throw of 48-feet 1.75-inches.
 
Jahdon Wimbush (Northfield / Nordonia) took home second in the long jump with a leap of 21-feet 3.5-inches.
 
Aaron Blevins (Windham) finished second in the high jump with a height of 6-feet 2.75-inches.
 
Bret Wingard (Knox, Pa. / Keystone) took second in the triple jump with a leap of 41-feet 7.75-inches.
 
The Raiders are back in action next weekend at home hosting the Jim Wuske Invitational with some athletes heading to Ashland, Ohio to compete on Friday and Saturday.
