BLOOMINGTON, Indiana/BEREA, Ohio—Mount Union's track and field added a top 16 mark in Division III Friday afternoon at a last chance meet.
In Indiana the men had six top five performances.
Josiah Hunter,
Donovan Geiger,
Brady Burrey and
Ryder Greenwood finished second in the 4x100-Meter relay with a time of 40.81 only losing to Division I Indiana.
Greenwood also finished third in the 100-Meters with a time of 10.66.
Nick Franitti finished fourth in the 400-Meter hurdles with a time of 52.85 which is tied for 16
th in Division III and he fifth in the 110-Meter hurdles with a time of 14.85.
Grant Dawson finished third in the high jump with a leap of 6-feet 4.25-inches.
Colton Hanlon took fourth in the pole vault with a leap of 15-feet 3-inches.
In Berea the men had two top five performances.
Yahir Hill,
Ezekiel Dunn, Isaac Pittman and
Trey Woodley finished second in the 4x400-Meter relay with a time of 3:16.55.
Mason Arth tied for fourth in the pole vault with a leap of 13-feet 7-inches.
On the women's side in Indiana there was two top five performances.
Mackenzie Davis finished third in the long jump with a leap of 18-feet 6.5-inches.
Laney Duff finished fourth in the high jump with a leap of 5-feet 3-inches.
In Berea there were five top five performances.
Savannah Dennison won the 1,500-Meters with a time of 4:36.17 while
Marah Bethel took fifth with a 4:40.85.
Maria Alberts finished third in the 100-Meter dash with a time of 12.75.
Callie Cyrus took home third in the 400-Meters with a time of 58.35.
The 4x400-Meter relay crew of
Ashley Eberhardt, Julia Armogida,
Melanie Plecko and
Kristen Walters finished second overall with a time of 4:07.50.
Mount Union will now host the final last chance meet next Wednesday and Thursday.
