WESTERVILLE, Ohio—Mount Union's women's volleyball team fell to Otterbein in the Ohio Athletic Conference regular season finale in straight sets (25-21, 25-15 and 25-16) Friday night at the Rike Center.
Mount Union finishes the regular season off with a record of 18-7 overall and 6-3 in the OAC and now will await tomorrows results as to whether they will be the 3 or 4-seed. Otterbein is currently 20-7 and finishes the OAC as the regular season champions with a 9-0 record.
The Purple Raiders were led by junior
Heaven Bartell (Cleveland / St. Joseph Academy) with 12 kills and eight digs.
Junior
Casey Kildow (Bethesda / Union Local) led the team in assists with 15 while senior
Adrian Petrisko (Elyria) finished with nine digs.
Otterbein was led by Morgan Hartman with 17 kills, Olivia Vitaz with 22 assists and Amanda Troyer with 19 digs.
Mount Union will be off the next week as they prepare for the OAC Tournament hosting a team to be determined on Tuesday, November 7th at 7 PM in Alliance.
