Women's Volleyball: Raiders to take on Transylvania at Hope College NCAA Division III Volleyball Tournament Regional

INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA-- The Mount Union women's volleyball team's was selected as one of the 21 bids into the Division III NCAA Women's Volleyball Tournament Monday afternoon.
 
Mount Union (20-8 overall) is making its first appearance in over nine years with the last appearance in 2014. The Purple Raiders earned one of the 21 NCAA bids for the third time in its history and sixth trip to the NCAA Tournament.
 
Mount Union will travel to Holland, Michigan at the Hope regional taking on No.17 nationally ranked Transylvania on Thursday, November 16th at 11:30 AM.
 
The eight-team, three-day regional runs at DeVos Fieldhouse on Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 16-18.
 
Thursday's first-round matchups are:
11:30 a.m., Match 1, Transylvania vs. Mount Union;
2 p.m. Match 2, Carnegie Mellon vs. Pacific Lutheran
4:30 p.m., Match 3, Case Western Reserve University vs. Wisconsin-Stevens Point;
7 p.m., Match 4, Hope vs. Bethany
 
On Friday, Match 1 and Match 2 winners will play at 4:30 p.m., followed by Match 3 and Match 4 winners at 7 p.m.
 
On Saturday, Friday's winners will meet for the regional title at 7 p.m.
 
All-session tickets cost $20 for adults, $12 for senior citizens and students and $8 for children 3-12. Children under two are free.
 
Single-day tickets cost $10 for adults, $8 for senior citizens and students and $5 for children 3-12. Children under two are free.
 
Tickets can be purchased in advance through the Hope College ticket office, 100 East Eighth Street, or tickets.hope.edu. Tickets can be purchased at the door 1 hour before competition each day.
 
All regional matches will be live-streamed on the Hope Athletics YouTube account.
 
The eight regional champions advance to the national quarterfinals on Wednesday, Nov. 29, in Claremont, California, hosted by Claremont McKenna and Harvey Mudd-Scripps
