ADA, Ohio – The No. 22 nationally ranked Mount Union men's soccer team tied Ohio Northern 0-0 in the semifinals of the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Tournament on Thursday evening.
The Purple Raiders (16-2-2, 6-2-1 OAC) and the Polar Bears (11-5-3, 7-1-1 OAC) would remain deadlocked at zero after 90 minutes of play and head to overtime tied at zero. Neither team would be able to find the back of the net after the first 10-minute overtime period and would head to the second overtime still tied at zero. Mount Union and Ohio Northern still weren't able to net one after the second overtime period and would head to a penalty kick shootout.
Ohio Northern would end up winning the penalty kick shootout 4-3.

Jackson Callender (Cleveland Heights / Notre Dame Cathedral Latin) recorded seven saves in the game.
The Raiders will now have to wait and see if they get an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament when the selection show airs on Monday, November 6 at 2 p.m.
