ALLIANCE, Ohio—The men's track and field team put five men into the top 20 of the NCAA Division III rankings Saturday afternoon at the Toy Drive Invite.
Senior
Jared Storm (Barberton) won the 400-Meters in a time of 49.57 which currently ranks him seventh in Division III. Senior
Justin Knoch (Canton / GlenOak) finished fourth with a 50.06 which is tied for 14th in Division III.
Sophomore
Ryan McVicker (Dover) took home second in the shot put with a throw of 52-feet 9.5-inches which currently ranks him sixth in Division III.
Junior
Drake Willenborg (South Lyon, Mich. / South Lyon) finished second in the weight throw with a toss of 58-feet 6-inches which bettered his mark from his throw last weekend but didn't improve his position as he is seventh in Division III.
Senior
Matt McBride (Conneaut) finished third in the 200-Meters with a time of 22.64 which will sit 20th in Division III.
Sophomore
Mason Palmer (Navarre / Fairless) finished second in the 1,000-Meters with a time of 2:46.72.
Senior
Dominic Deshuk (Amherst / Steele) finished third in the 60-Meter hurdles with a time of 8.65.
Sophomore
Colton Hanlon (Uniontown / Lake) took third in the pole vault with a leap of 14-feet 7.25-inches.
Junior Aiden Malloy (League City, Tx. / Clear Springs) finished third in long jump with a leap of 21-feet 7.25-inches.
Mount Union will now have the Christmas break off and not compete until January 20th at the Spire Meet held in Geneva, Ohio.
