ALLIANCE, Ohio—The women's track and field team won three events at the Toy Drive Invite putting four girls into the top 20 of the NCAA Division III rankings Saturday afternoon.
Graduate student
Kenadee Wayt (Wheeling, W. Va. / Wheeling Central Catholic) once again cruised around the track this weekend winning the 200 and 400-Meters in times of 24.87 and 56.16. Both times now sit as the top mark in Division III this season.
Senior
Lauren Roncone (North Canton / Hoover) won the long jump with a leap of 18-feet 5.25-inches which is currently tied for second in Division III.
Freshman Makenna Rudy (Salem) finished second in the shot put with a throw of 41-feet 6.5-inches which ranks 16th in Division III.
Junior
Natasha Zahursky (Painesville / Riverside) won the 60-Meter hurdles in a time of 9.69 while junior
McKenzie Chine (Austintown / Austintown-Fitch) finished second with a 9.71.
Sophomore Kristen Walters finished second in the 500-Meters with a time of 1:23.54.
Senior
Kayla McAdams (Massillon / Massillon Perry) took second place in pole vault with a leap of 10-feet 7-inches.
Senior
Buzz Kline (Mogadore / Field) finished third in the weight throw with a toss of 48-feet 5-inches.
Junior
Calena Jablonski (Kinsman / Badger) got third in the triple jump with a leap of 33-feet 5.75-inches.
Mount Union will now have the Christmas break off and not compete until January 20
th at the Spire Meet held in Geneva, Ohio.
