Baseball: Raiders Dominate La Roche, 25-4

PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Mount Union baseball team won, 25-4, at La Roche on Thursday in a non-conference game.
 
Mount Union (10-4) scored 11 runs in the first, nine in the third, three in the fifth, and two in the sixth.
 
Raider senior John Razzante (Mayfield, Ohio / Mayfield) had a game-high four RBIs, including a home run. Classmate Eric Schilling (Stow, Ohio / Stow-Munroe Falls) led all batters with three extra-base hits, including a triple.
 
Mount first-year pitcher Anthony Warner (Louisville, Ohio / Louisville) improved to 2-0 on the year, going 4.0 innings and only allowing one earned run on two hits.
 
Mount Union is back on the filed Monday, March 20 at Thiel with a 4 p.m. start.
