ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Mount Union baseball team's historic season finished 24th in the final American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) national poll, its best finish ever in any national final poll.
The 24th final ranking is just the second time ever the Raiders have been nationally ranked in any national poll (2025 ABCA—28th).
The Purple Raiders, under the leadership of 30th-year Head Coach
Paul Hesse, finished the season 32-12 overall—their most wins in program history. The Purple Raiders advanced to their third NCAA Tournament ever in program history, including in consecutive years (2026, 2025, and 2013).
During the 2026 season, Mount Union was nationally ranked within the Top 10 for the first time in program history: D3baseball.com/NCBWA Top 25 (8th) and ABCA (9th).
