ALLIANCE, Ohio- In a battle of two teams that tied for the Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League Regular Season title the Mount Union men's volleyball team fell in the Tournament Championship in four sets, 23-25, 25-16, 25-27 and 28-30, to Baldwin Wallace Saturday afternoon.

The Purple Raiders (21-6) was led by all-tournament selections in
Jack McClure (Massillon / Massillon Jackson) and
Cameron Ternent (Canal Fulton / Massillon Jackson) with 14 and 13 kills.

Will Heeney (Hudson / Walsh Jesuit) finished with 40 assists while McClure led the team in digs with 12, Heeney had 11 and
Aaron Armour (Waukesha, Wis. / Catholic Memorial) had 10.

Baldwin Wallace (26-7) was led by Michael duo of Devlin and Beard as they had 19 and 17 kills.

In set one Baldwin Wallace pulled off the victory with 16 kills and 11 errors while Mount Union had 10 kills and six errors.

Set two saw Mount Union dominated as they had 11 kills and just two errors to Baldwin Wallace's nine kills and seven errors.

The final two sets saw the rallies go above the 25 point mark as set three saw 16 kills and five errors from both teams as Baldwin Wallace took the victory and then in set four Baldwin Wallace won on 19 kills and 10 errors while Mount Union had 13 kills and five errors.

Mount Union will end its season at 21-6 overall and 7-1 in the MCVL.
