ALLIANCE, Ohio-- The Mount Union women's track and field team had six Top 17 marks Saturday afternoon at Kehres Stadium for the John Homon Open.
Kenadee Wayt and
Madison Miles ran in the 400-Meters to win and finish second with the second and third best times in the nation with 56.14 and 56.58.
Mary Mason rounded out the top three with a 59.00.
Wayt also won the 200-Meters running a 24.77 good for fourth in the nation currently while Miles finished second with a 25.12 which is 17th.
Wayt and Miles combined with
Lauren Roncone,
Micah Donley to lay down the ninth fastest time in the nation winning the 4x100-Meter relay with a time of 47.93.
Bri Aveni took second with a leap of 12-feet .75-inches for second overall and sits 12th overall.
Lauren Roncone in prelims of the 100-Meter ran the fastest time of 12.39 but didn't run in the finals.
Hannah Neiger finished second in the finals running a 12.73.
Roncone also won the long jump with a leap of 17-feet 2.25-inches.
Megan Wertz and
Brit McCauley finished first and second in the 800-Meters with a 2:18.21 and 2:18.59.
Makayla Stizlar and
Buzz Kline took first and second in the shot put with throws of 38-feet 11-inches and 38-feet 7.75-inches.
Cait Gatta finished second in the 3,000-Meter steeplechase running a time of 12:26.68.
Sidney Rambo took second in the discus and javelin with throws of 144-feet 9-inches and 101-feet 11-inches.
