                     PITTSFORD, New York—The Mount Union women's track and field team broke a school record and qualified five athletes to the finals on Saturday at the NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships Thursday evening.
 
In the only final event of the day junior 
Sidney Rambo (Columbiana / Columbiana Crestview) came into the meet ranked 20th and finished 13th overall in the discus with a throw of 140-feet 1-inch.
 
The women's 4x100-Meter relay team of seniors 
Kenadee Wayt (Wheeling, W. Va. / Wheeling Central Catholic), 
Kennady Gibbins (Navarre / Fairless) and juniors 
Madison Miles (Padua / Padua Franciscan) and 
Lauren Roncone (North Canton / Hoover) broke the school record running a 46.27.
 
Wayt, Gibbins and Miles teamed up with sophomore 
Mary Mason (Alliance / Marlington) to have the fastest prelim time in the 4x400-Meter relay with a 3:44.50
 
Wayt qualified to three different running finals as she is ranked first in the 4x400, third in the 200-Meters and fourth in the 4x100.
 
Gibbins and Miles each qualified in two events being the 4x100 and 4x400. Gibbins also competed in the 400-Meter hurdles placing 10th with a 1:01.73.
 
Senior 
Brit McCauley (Ontario) qualified to the finals of the 1,500-Meters running a 4:30.25 which is ranked 10th currently.
 
Tomorrow the Purple Raiders will have Wayt and Miles in the prelims of the 400-Meters at 5:45 p.m.
