Box Score ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Mount Union women's tennis team opened its 2023-24 season against Pitt-Greensburg at home on Friday inside Peterson Field House.
 
Sophomore Emily Peel (Green, Ohio / Green) earned hard-fought win at No. 4 singles (3-6, 6-2, 10-5). Junior Abby Franks (Canton, Ohio / Canton South) and sophomore Amelia Francisco (Canfield, Ohio / Canfield) won at No. 1 singles (8-4).
 
The Purple Raiders (0-1) will next play Ohio Wesleyan at the distinguished Lindner Family Tennis Center on Saturday.
