Box Score MASON, Ohio – The Mount Union women's tennis team lost, 7-2, against Ohio Wesleyan at the distinguished Lindner Family Tennis Center on Saturday.
 
Senior Emma Thornton (Canfield, Ohio / Youngstown Ursuline) won No. 3 convincingly, 6-1, 6-2. The dynamic duo of junior Abby Franks (Canton, Ohio / Canton South) and sophomore Amelia Francisco (Canfield, Ohio / Canfield) stayed perfect at No. 1 singles, winning 8-6.
 
The Purple Raiders are back on the court at Ashland on Saturday, Sept. 23 with a 12 p.m. start time.
