ALLIANCE, Ohio – Mount Union's men's soccer team lost in the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament Championship game 1-0 to Otterbein on Saturday evening.
The Cardinals (12-6-3, 6-3 OAC) struck first when they broke the scoreless tie in the 42
nd minute when Kasdin Hale found the back of the net to take a 1-0 lead.
The Purple Raiders (15-5-1, 8-1 OAC) wouldn't be able to answer over the final half of the game, their best chance came off a shot by fifth-year
Carter Hancock (Amherst / Marion L. Steele) with one second left on the clock, but it wasn't able to find the back of the net as Otterbein would go on to win 1-0.
The Raiders will now have to wait and see if they earn an at-large bid into the NCAA Men's Soccer Tournament when the Selection Show airs on Monday, November 11 at 1:30 p.m.
