ALLIANCE, Ohio – Three members of the Mount Union football team were named on the 2024 Associated Press NCAA Division III All-America Teams.

Rossy Moore (Lima, OH/Lima Central Catholic) was named on the First Team Defense, while junior offensive lineman
Giovanni Kennedy (Avon, OH/St. Edward) was named on the First Team Offense. Senior
Tyler Echeverry (Naples, FL/Barron Collier) was named on the Second Team Offense.
Moore, earning his second All-America honor this season, leads the team in tackles for loss (20.0) and is second on the team in sacks (11.0). Moore added to his career achievements against John Carroll in the NCAA Second Round with his first career touchdown (a 31-yard fumble return).
Kennedy, earning his first career All-America recognition, has anchored an offensive line for an offense that leads the OAC in points per game (42.9), yards per game (462.5), and rushing yards per game (234.2).
Echeverry, earning his second All-America honor this year, leads NCAA Division III in rushing touchdowns with 26. Echeverry is averaging over 100 yards rushing a game (111.4).
Mount Union will host Johns Hopkins in the 2024 NCAA Semifinals on Saturday, Dec. 21 for a chance to advance to its 23rd Stagg Bowl appearance and win its 14th NCAA Championship. Kickoff on Saturday is set for 12:02 PM and will be broadcast exclusively on ESPN+.
