WOOSTER, Ohio – Mount Union's men's swimming and diving team finished in fourth place after the first day of the Wooster Invitational on Thursday evening.
The Purple Raiders finished with a team score of 353, which is 75 points ahead of fifth place Edinboro. Rose-Hulman leads the event with a team score of 452.

Top Finishers
- 200-yard freestyle relay: team consisting of junior Lucas Starling (Lexington), sophomore Bruce Beyer (Plymouth, Mich / Plymouth-Salem), sophomore Angelo Lawrence (Mooresville, Ind. / Center Grove) and junior Jacob Hathaway (Lexington) finished second with a time of 1:24.86
- 500-yard freestyle: senior Dylan Cossin (Stow / Stow-Munroe Falls) won the event with a time of 4:35.70
- 200-yard individual medley: Hathaway finished third with a time of 1:55.17
The Raiders are back in action again tomorrow for the second day of the Wooster Invitational with prelims beginning at 10 a.m., diving at 2 p.m. and finals at 6 p.m. at Wooster High School.
