ALLIANCE, Ohio—
Mary Mason (Alliance / Marlington) broke the school record in the 800-Meters running a 2:11.82 which bested the previous record help by Heather O'Shea from 1994 with a 2:12.99.
With Mason's time she looks to be in the Division III Indoor Track and Field meet as she sits fifth currently and the top 20 athletes making next weeks national meet.
Justin Knoch (Canton / GlenOak) won the men's 400-Meters with a time of 49.86.
Lauren Roncone (North Canton / Hoover) won the women's long jump with a leap of 18-feet 2.5-inches.
Aaron Belvins (Windham) won the heptathlon with 4,732 points while
Mason Arth (Mayfield) finished third with 3,283 points.
Brady Burrey (Bellefontaine) finished second in the men's 200-Meters with a time of 22.42.
Drake Willenborg (South Lyon, Mich. South Lyon East) finished third in the weight throw with a toss of 59-feet 8-inches.
Mount Union will now await the official entries of the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships on Sunday. The Purple Raiders will then head to the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia, hosted by Norfolk State for the meet on Friday and Saturday.
