Box Score HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Mount Union women's tennis team lost, 9-0, to NCAA Division II Assumption University on Thursday to wrap up its spring break trip.
 
Mount freshman Emily Borchert (Richfield, Ohio / Holy Name) battled tough at No. 6 singles, losing in a tie-breaker, 1-6, 7-5, 6-10.
 
The Purple Raiders moved to 1-7 overall, while Assumption improved to 15-5.
 
Mount Union is next scheduled to open Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) play vs. John Carroll on Saturday, March 23 at home with a 1 p.m. start.
