ALLIANCE, Ohio
Drake Willenborg (South Lyon, Mich. / South Lyon East) broke the school record in the discus by over 5 and a half feet Saturday afternoon as the Mount Union men's track and field team won seven events as they hosted the John Homon Open.

Willenborg put up the nation leading throw with a toss of 180-feet in the discus breaking the previous record by Sean Denard in 2012 with a distance of 174-feet 3-inches. Willenborg also finished in third in the hammer throw with a throw of 180-feet 11-inches.

The men's 400-Meter hurdles swept the top six positions as
Dominic Deshuk (Amherst / Steele) won with a 55.98 while
Jacob Jarrett (Collins / Western Reserve) and
Jacob Newby (Solon) rounded out the top three with 58.40 and 58.68.

Matt McBride (Conneaut) and
Jared Storm (Barberton) finished first and second in the men's 400-Meters with time of 48.01 and 48.48.

Ryan McVicker (Dover) and
Carter Lewis (Alliance) finished first and second in the shot put with tosses of 51-feet .75-inches and 49-feet .25-inches.

Brady Burrey (Bellfontaine) and
Braydon Lazzara (Stow / CVCA) finished first and second in the javelin with tosses of 174-feet 5-inches and 159-feet 8-inches.

Conrad Weisner (Sylvania / Sylvania Northview) and
Austin Olinger (Avon Lake) finished first and second in the 110-Meter hurdles with times of 15.58 and 16.58.

Brandon Paige (Youngstown / Young Valley Christian), Aiden Malloy (League City, Tx. / Clear Springs),
Vinny Zeren (Louisville / St. Thomas Aquinas), and
Haden Gibson (Brookfield) won the men's 4x100-Meter relay with a 42.00.

Marek France (East Amherst, N.Y. / Williamsville East) won the men's 1,500-Meter with a time of 4:20.22.

Colton Hanlon (Uniontown / Lake) and
Mason Arth (Mayfield) finished second and third in the pole vault with leaps of 15-feet 4.5-inches and 11-feet 9.25-inches.

Malloy along with
Tylir Shannon (Greenville, Pa. / Reynolds) took second and third in the 100-Meters with times of 10.90 and 10.92.

Zach Shawala (Stow / Stow-Monroe Falls) finished second in the men's 800-Meters with a time of 2:03.20.

Cedric Mays (Dallas / Parish Episcopal School) finished third in the triple jump with a leap of 40-feet 9.5-inches.

E.J. Short (Cincinnati / Winton Woods) tied for third in the high jump with a leap of 5-feet 8.75-inches.
