The Purple Raiders (22-10, 8-6 OAC) lost game one, 4-3, from a walk-off, however regrouped and won convincingly, 10-3, in game two.

Mount was down 2-1 going into the eighth inning, however, took a 3-2 lead off a two-run single by Andrew Witte (Mentor, Ohio / Mentor) in the top of the eighth. Wilmington (4-25, 2-12 OAC) tied it in the bottom of the eighth, followed with a walk-off walk with the bases loaded in the ninth. Junior Chris Phillips (Elyria, Ohio / Elyria Catholic) got the loss coming in for relief. Senior Jaired Lehman (Monroeville, Pa. / Gateway) started and pitched 8.0 innings with only one earned run (three total) and had seven strikeouts in the no decision.
