Box Score MARIETTA, Ohio – The Mount Union women's tennis team blanked Marietta, 9-0, on the road in an Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) match on Wednesday.
 
The Purple Raiders (5-10, 3-2 OAC) were led by senior Emma Thornton (Canfield, Ohio / Youngstown Ursuline) who won No. 1 singles, 6-2, 6-2, and partnered with junior Abby Franks (Canton, Ohio / Canton South) for an 8-0 win at No. 1 doubles. Franks also won No. 2 singles in dominant fashion, 6-0, 6-0.
 
Mount Union will finish its regular season on Saturday, April 27 at Ohio Northern with a 1 p.m. start time.
