GENEVA, Ohio-- Mount Union women's track, and field team got the sprints team going along with the rest of the team at the Spire Midwest Collegiate Open Saturday afternoon.

Mount Union got three of the top nine times in the 800-Meters as
Mary Mason (2:16.47),
Halle Cochran (2:21.42) and Meghan Schwartz (2:22.41) finished third, sixth and ninth. Mason's time will currently put her 14th overall in Division III.

Gianini Venuto finished fourth overall in the 3,000-Meters with a time of 10:06.34 which is currently ranked 25th overall in Division III.

Buzz Kline grabbed sixth overall with a toss of 46-feet 2.5-inches in the weight throw.
Â
Cochran joined with Paula Incorvati, Cora Liskai and
Kristen Walters to finish seventh in the 4x400-Meter Relay with a time of 4:09.84.

Katelyn Eberhardt got over 5-feet 1-inch good for 12th overall in the high jump.
Â
In the triple jump Madeline Burgess finished 13th overall with a leap of 33-feet 10.75-inches.
Â
Ashley Cockrell was the top Mount Union athlete in the 60-Meter Hurdles with a time of 9.52 good for 13th.

In the 400-Meters Walters finished 18th overall in the time of 1:02.60.

Mackenzie Davis and Rylie Haynes finished 19th and 20th for the Purple Raiders in the long jump with leaps of 16-feet 4.25-inches.

Kennedy Berger took home 23rd in the 60-Meters with a time of 8.12 while Incorvati finished 30th in the 200-Meters with a time of 27.02.

Michaela Davis was the top athlete for Mount Union in the mile with a time of 5:34.79 finishing 36th overall.
Mount Union will host the Wuske Invitational next Saturday in the Peterson Field House.Â
