DESTIN, Fla. – Mount Union's women's golf team finished in 20^th place after the first round of the Golfweek Classic at Sandestin Beach Resort on Sunday afternoon.

The Purple Raiders finished with a team score of 336 which is just five strokes behind 19^th place East Texas Baptist. Grinnell and Williams leads the event with a team score of 300.

Junior Larisa Golembiewski (Macedonia / Nordonia) led the way for Mount Union with a 77, while fellow junior Kamil Stephens (Marblehead / Danbury) carded an 80. Juniors Amanda Fedor (Uniontown / Lake) and Emma Packard (Ashland) rounded out the Raiders team score by shooting 87 and 92 respectively.

The Raiders are back in action on Monday for the second round of the Golfweek Classic at Sandestin Beach Resort in Destin, Fla.
