WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio – Mount Union's women's golf team finished in the lead after the first round of the Ohio Athletic Conference Championship at River Greens G.C. on Friday afternoon.
The Purple Raiders finished with a team score of 328 which gives them a two-shot lead over second place Ohio Northern.
Junior
Amanda Fedor (Uniontown / Lake) led the way for Mount Union, carding a 78 which also leads all golfers. Juniors
Emma Packard (Ashland) and
Kamil Stephens (Marblehead / Danbury) both carded rounds in the 80s to finish in the top 10, shooting an 82 and 83 respectively. Freshman
Mya Downing (Dover) rounded out the Raiders team score with an 85.
The Raiders are back in action again tomorrow for the second round of the OAC Championship at River Greens G.C. in West Lafayette.
