FARMINGTON, Pa. – Mount Union's women's golf team finished in 14
th place after the first round of the Tartan Invitational at Nemacolin Resort on Monday afternoon.
The Purple Raiders finished with a team score of 345 which is 33 strokes ahead of 15
th place Kenyon. Carnegie Mellon leads the event with a team score of 283.
Junior
Emma Packard (Ashland) led the way for Mount Union, finishing with a 79. Junior
Kamil Stephens (Marblehead / Danbury) and freshman
Mya Downing (Dover) both carded a score in the 80s, shooting 85 and 89 respectively. Junior
Larisa Golembiewski (Macedonia / Nordonia) rounded out the Raiders team score with a 92.
The Raiders are back in action again tomorrow for the final round of the Tartan Invitational at Nemacolin Resort in Farmington, Pa.
