Women's Soccer: Raiders and Capital Draw in Regular Season Finale

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Mount Union's women's soccer team tied Capital 0-0 in Ohio Athletic Conference play on Saturday afternoon.

Neither the Purple Raiders (7-6-3, 4-3-1 OAC) or the Comets (8-5-3, 3-2-2 OAC) were able to find the back of the net over 90 minutes of action as they would go on to tie 0-0 to wrap up the regular season for both teams.

Sophomore goalkeeper Leanne Williams (Poland / Poland Seminary) recorded nine saves in her ninth shutout of the season.

The Raiders have clinched a spot in the OAC Tournament and will host Ohio Northern in the quarterfinals on Tuesday, November 4 at 4 p.m. in Kehres Stadium.
