Abby Calaway (Berea / Berea-Midpark) and freshman
Isaac Tennant (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Moon) were named the Ohio Athletic Conference Swimmers of the Week (11/10).
Calaway won three individual events, winning the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:02.27, the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 54.85 and the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:27.96. She was also a member of the 400-yard freestyle relay team that finished second with a time of 3:46.98 in Saturday's meet against Penn State-Behrend.
Tennant won a pair of individual events on Saturday, winning the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:49.16 and the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 54.12. He was also a member of the 400-yard freestyle relay team that finished second with a time of 3:17.85
This marks the first time this season and the seventh time in her career that Calaway has won the award, with this marking the first time this season and in his career that Tennant has won the award.
