LOUISVILLE, Kentucky—Caleb Cabrera (Amherst / Steele) and Matt Tschantz (Canton / GlenOak) earned Great lakes All-Region honors placing 17th and 29th overall Saturday morning.
 
Cabrera and Tschanz led Mount Union to a seventh place team finish as they covered the 8k course in times of 25:34.3 and 25:47.2.
 
Stephen Ulrich (Louisville) 58th, Jake Parkhurst (Medina) 61^st and Cohen Boyce (Alliance / Marlington) 65^th rounded out the top five scoring with times of 26:22.5, 26:23.4 and 26:25.4 respectively.
 
Marek France (East Amherst, N.Y. / Williamsville East) and Jason Hammar (Canfield) competed for Mount Union as well with times of 27:01.6 and 28:31.9 for 107^th and 190^th.
 
Mount Union finished with 227 points just 15 behind sixth place Case Western while Hope won the meet with 53 total points.
