Women's Soccer: Raiders End Season In OAC Quarterfinals

ALLIANCE, Ohio—The Mount Union women's soccer team fell to Ohio Northern in penalty kicks (5-3) in the quarterfinals of the Ohio Athletic Conference women's soccer tournament Tuesday night at Kehres Stadium.
 
Ohio Northern (6-8-4, 4-3-1) was on the board first as Maddie Montgomery scored in the 53rd minute. Mount Union responded with a goal from Madeline Boulos (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Deer Lake) in the 67th minute assisted by Rachel Chenos (Hillard / Hillard Bradley).
 
Neither team got a goal the rest of the regular time or overtime heading into penalty kicks. Ohio Northern then finished off the game winning the penalty kicks 5-to-3.
 
Mount Union returned to the OAC tournament for the first time since 2022 and will end its season at 7-6-4 overall and 4-3-1 in the OAC.
