No. 4 seed Mount Union will travel to No. 1 seed Ohio Northern in the Semifinals of the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Tournament on Thursday, November 6 at 7 p.m.

The Purple Raiders (13-2-4, 5-1-2 OAC) are coming off a 4-2 win over Baldwin Wallace in the quarterfinals of the tournament, where junior Alex Depperschmidt (Mansfield / Lexington) scored two goals and had an assist and senior Braedon Kennedy (Strongsville) scored the other two goals. Depperschmidt now has a team-leading 12 goals on the season after Tuesday's performance.

The Polar Bears (11-0-6, 6-0-2 OAC) had a bye in the quarterfinals of the tournament and are led offensively by Colin Gottron who leads them with six goals and four assists on the season with Chase Robinson adding four goals on the season. Goalkeeper Carson Zurmehly leads the defense as they have held teams to just 0.71 goals per game and have recorded nine shutouts.

Mount Union and Ohio Northern played each other to a 2-2 draw in their regular season matchup.

Mount Union is making their 17^th OAC Tournament appearance and have an overall record of 6-13-4, including a run to the title game last season.

Ohio Northern is making their 26^th OAC Tournament appearance and have an overall record of 24-13-6, winning the tournament in 2006, 2008, 2010-13, 2015 and 2023.
