WESTERVILLE, Ohio— Mount Union's women's track and field program won the team title and took home two victories at the All-Ohio Championship Saturday afternoon.
Paula Incorvati,
Kalie Campbell,
Melanie Plecko and Rylie Haynes picked up the victory in the 4x200-Meter relay with a time of 1:46.60.
The 4x400-Meter relay team consisting of
Ella McElwee,
Meghan Schwartz,
Marah Bethel and
Halle Cochran won the meet with a time of 4:09.18.
Cochran and
Taylor Hennessey picked up second and third in the 400-Meters with times of 1:00.50 and 1:01.00.
Jessica Mason finished runner-up in the pole vault with a leap of 11-feet 3-inches.
The quartet of
Jada Ames, Julia Armogida,
Michaela Davis, and
Lauryn Chapman finished second in the distance medley relay with a time of 13:16.57.
Jasmine Arnold took home third in the 3,000-Meters with a time of 10:40.56 which led four different Raiders to a top eight finish.
Makayla Sitzlar finished third in the shot put with a toss of 41-feet 1.25-inches.
In Boston the Raiders put together strong times as
Mary Mason was just .03 off her own school record in the 800-Meters running a 2:11.85 which will currently be 10th in Division III. Maddy Miles ran a 58.07 in the 400-Meters while Gia Venuto ran a 5:03.52.
Mount Union will now host the Raider Tune-Up on Friday February 21st before heading to the OAC Indoor Track and Field Championship hosted by Ohio Northern in Ada, Ohio on February 28th and March 1st.
