ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Mount Union men's tennis team lost, 4-3, to Saint Vincent at home on Saturday.
Mount Union won two doubles as junior
Elliott Warner (New Philadelphia, Ohio / New Philadelphia) and freshman
Nick Sziraky (Uniontown, Ohio / Green) paired up and won No. 1, 6-2, and the duo of sophomores
Andrew Cavett (Beaver, Pa. / Beaver Area) and
Jacob Timonere (Ashtabula, Ohio / St. John) won No. 2, 6-2.
Warner also won No. 1 singles, 6-4, 6-0, while Sziraky had a dominant win at No. 3 singles, 6-0, 6-0.
Mount Union will be back on the courts Friday, Feb. 28 with a non-conference match at Geneva at 4 p.m.
